To Help With Clarification, here is a post made back in March.

Further Clarification of 24/7 Catalystic Ministries:

What 24/7 CM is about: 24/7 CM is a ministry of Love. We offer a willing friendship that so often people can't find. When you have a Burden you want to release but have no one to vent to, we wil be here for you. If you Ever need to talk, vent, or seek prayer we are ready and willing to be there for you. No strings attached, and as often as we can. Right now, 24/7 is actually an I, but with God's blessing, Hopefully we will have more people availible to chat with you.

Self Examination

How many of you all have ever heard the phrase look at yourself in a mirror? Now we all know that there are times when we don't realize all the things we're doing, but how often do we truly examine ourselves and our behavior?

2 Corinthians 13:5 writes "Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you--unless indeed you fail the test?"

Paul was telling the Corithians that they needed to examine themselves because they didn't know who they stood with. If you profess Christ, shouldn't he be the one your life reflects?

The Question then becomes: Do I past the test? Do I resemble Christ or someone else?

Some food for thought.

A Message for 5.28.2005

Live by your service to God.

John 4:31-34

“(31) In the meantime the disciples kept urging Him, ‘Rabbi, eat something.’ (32) But He said, ‘I have food to eat that you don’t know about.’ (33) The disciples said to one another, ‘Could someone have brought Him something to eat?’ (34) ‘My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work,’ Jesus told them. [HCSB]

Earlier in John chapter 4, we find that the disciples had gone to buy food. They were traveling with Jesus to Galilee, and had gone through Samaria. Jesus stayed behind when the disciples went, and we find Jesus sitting by a well. While Jesus is at the well, a woman comes looking to get water from the well. Jesus tells her of His living water and tells her of her past. He also reveals to this woman that He is the Messiah.

After the woman has left, the disciples return with food. However, look what verses 31 and 32 tell us. Even though the disciples had urged Jesus to eat something, he refused and said he had already had food that the disciples did not know about.

This puzzled the disciples as much as it would puzzle anyone else. Then Jesus tells them His secret, and teaches the disciples that He feed off His service to the Lord.

Friends, we often get caught up in things of our human nature, and forget that Jesus taught us that in him we will find all we need. It’s time the Body of Christ stop depending on what we can bring to ourselves, and begin living on the things of God. The next time you find yourself a little tired with the things of your daily life, Remember that we are to all things in the name of Christ. Trust the Lord, and allow Him to give you the strength you need. Maybe that is why we were taught that Jesus is the Bread of Life, and the Living Water.
